Juno Movie Poster

Project Overview

I wanted to redesign an innovative version of the movie poster for Juno, as the current design misses key points and is not readable. To start, I researched the existing posters and the illustration style of the film. This inspired me to create a series of sketches, which each included a challenge. I decided to go with the challenge ‘make the worst drawing of the best thing,’ portraying symbols of important themes in the movie.

I created a general version of the poster, using Procreate for the illustrations. After drawing the background, I added text using Illustrator. I played with color balance and saturation, and slightly changed the hand in the final version. The final solution effectively portrays Juno’s authentic personality and hints at notable themes, including pregnancy, family, and music.
